Yes. If you’re concerned your child is falling behind in English, MEEL will help your child build a solid grasp of writing and reading, expand their vocabulary and grow more confident and motivated while mastering each concept and lesson.
MEEL will challenge and help your child advance and succeed. English is, almost certainly, the most important subject and many of our students are studying above grade level and these advanced students are introduced to new concepts earlier than at school and can experience the advantage of learning new material ahead of their peers. MEEL doesn't limit a child’s advancement and thus a sixth grader developing ability to read and digest complex texts quickly is not uncommon. As a student grow older, the ability to write and communicate becomes increasingly important and thus it is not uncommon for a middle school student developing an ability to submit essays, provide written responses to texts, and to express thoughts clearly and concisely.
Education is typically seen as a mechanism to reach to the end goal, i.e. crafting a career & getting a job. This is more so due to lack of a holistic learning curriculum which focuses on development through understanding and practice rather than rote-learning. This is the gap that MEEL tries to fill-in by enhancing English learning by improving your child's grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills etc.
